Forgotten K9s Inc. rescued 17 dogs from an unlicensed breeder in Ga. We did not have assistance from any other
groups as most are filled to capacity. These dogs have been through so much. They are true fighters and we were
not going to allow them to die as some of their littermates had. They are survivors! Their pictures and video tell their
story. They were living on top of dead dogs and some were starving to death literally! There are severely emaciated
dogs who are pregnant and too ill to spay, dogs with heartworms and many other issues. They are being cared for
in foster homes in Ga. We still need foster families. Please contact us if you are interested in becoming a foster.
Amazingly, all of them are very sweet and they like people. I do not know why after all that they have endured.

can do. We are a small group and can not continue to rescue dogs in this condition without help from kind and
caring individuals.
My personal favorite is the lab that we removed from a tree. He had been on a chain for so long that the chain had
become part of the tree. I have named him Freedom because that is what he enjoys the most about his new life. He
is living here with us and has plenty of room to run and play!
